A bit to type about this morning as some storms are moving through the western half of the region. The main thing right now, if you can believe it, is a flash flood warning which is up for NE Indiana and parts of NW Ohio this morning. There are two seperate flash flood warnings. Here is the first one:

Flash flood warning in effect until 7:30AM for Steuben, La Grange, Noble, Allen, De Kalb, Whitley and Huntington. A slow movnig storm located around the Fort Wayne metro is moving E at 20-mph. This storm contains heavy rains with it, which will be enough to perhaps produce some pondage in the roads in towns, and then perhaps a little bit of swelling in some of those ditches and creeks this morning.
Flash flood warning also in effect until 8:45AM for Allen and De Kalb counties in Indiana, and Williams, Defiance and Paulding counties in Ohio. This is in response to that same storm which is moving slowly out of Indiana and headig towards the NW Ohio area.

Now the storm that we're focusing on is a decent sized storm in terms of area, but it will be slow enough that the locations where it does go to will see decent rain fall amounts. Remember, the storm is moving E at 20-mph, so it isn't a fast one. We can expect (knock-on-wood) to see rain showers and thunderstorms linger in the western half of the region this morning. I'll have your forecast coming up in just a few moments. For now, that's the weather! Keep checking back for updates. http://weather.rap.ucar.edu/radar/displayRad.php?icao=KIWX&prod=n0r&bkgr=black&endDate=20120719&endTime=-1&duration=0
