Storms starting to develop down in the southern half of Indiana this morning and those are being watched right now. These storms are starting to become more organized and they are developing along side of the warm front. Looking around at the regional weather right now, there are still clouds holding out in the region, but it appears that these will soon start to lessen up just a little bit. Also watching a cluster of rain showers and weak storms that has been trying to make its way into the Toledo area, but still nothing much going on in the region other than that.
Air is becoming unstable out around the Indiana area this morning and the levels of instability are going to continue to rise a bit this morning. The warm front is going to arrive into the western half of the region early this afternoon (possibly even at noon if all goes well) and this is going to help those storms achieve their lift. Right now, I am still thinking that only wind is going to be the main issue with these storms, and maybe some small hail. Otherwise, not very much outside of that.
No watches or warnings up yet for any part of the region, but odds are that one will be posted within the next couple hours.
I’ll keep you updated as always, but for now, that’s the weather!
