Morning Update

Snow showers out and about in the majority of the region this morning, though most of them are light. Temperatures hanging around in the mid 20's right now with winds a little bit gusty, so its feeling a bit chillier out there than it really is.

Clipper system moving through the region right now, dragging a cold front with it. This front will end the snow showers in the western half of the region - but will keep some flurries and snow showers in the eastern half of the region this evening as some cooler air rides over the already cool lake.

Eastern half today will see the highest snow fall totals, but those aren't going to be anything much...mainly a dusting with about 1-3 inches in areas like Erie and possibly 2-4 in Buffalo.

Looking ahead at tomorrow evening and tomorrow night, we have a wave of energy riding the upper level winds and this one will give us a chance for snow showers. I'll have a brief update on that coming up at noon.
