A Few Changes,

A few stray showers popping us this morning in the western half of the region down near Fort Wanyne. These mainly formed due to the southernly winds and some of that warmer air (I revised the daily forecasts accordingly, I do apologize).

Of the rain showers that do form, they will be mainly just sprinkles and they should taper off late this afternoon. The skies are going to remain cloudy throughout the day and overnight. Towards late tonight we’ll start to pick up those rain showers in the western half of the region. A few breaks in the clouds are possible in the eastern half of the region before noon today, but generally the Fort Wayne and Toledo areas are going to just be cloudy with a few stray sprinkle this afternoon and the real rain showers showing up late tonight.

Eastern half of the region you’re still looking at a mainly decent day today as skies are going to stay mostly clear through the early part of this afternoon. The clouds will start to thicken up this afternoon as this system and low pressure begin to develop so expect to become mostly cloudy by no later than early this evening. Because you guys will be seeing more sun than the west, you’ll be seeing the warmer temps today with highs possibly getting up to about 50°.

Speaking of the low pressure…where it it this morning? Getting organized down in the Red River Valley in the Plains right now. This low will deepen more this afternoon and start to ride up towards the regio, bringing a trailing cold front along with it. Cold front will enter the region tomorrow and then stall out as mentioned earlier…allowing for additional waves of low pressure to ride along it, keeping the rain showers in the region. Another low pressure develops in the southern states along the stationary front, this will move up towards the region by the middle of the week and pull the front out of the region.

I’ll have a complete update coming up around 4.30 p.m. or 5.00 p.m. this afternoon on both the site and on Facebook. I’ll keep you updated as always, but for now, I am Timmy Albertson and that’s the weather! Keep checking back for updates because I’ll have them for you as always.
