Here we go

Well, right now as most of us here in the region sit in the mid teens for a temperature, you might not believe that within the next 24 hours we'll be seeing temps anywhere from 15-20° above average. That's right, we have some interesting weather on the way.

A high pressure which is over us right now will begin to move east and push warm air up our way. This will be tomorrow and we could see highs in the upper 40's/lower 50's for a good chunk of the region tomorrow. This will not come free however, we'll have cloudy skies and the possibility of some rain showers late in the afternoon.

For tomorrow, like I just typed, cloudy with scattered rain showers possible in the afternoon. Highs will be in the upper 40's/lower 50's depending on where you are. Winds will begin to increase late in the evening, but it wont be until Thursday that those winds will get stronger.

For Thursday, I am looking for winds to be in the 40 mph gusting range, so nothing we aren't use to. Highs again on Thursday will be in the lower 50's for much of the region (except the mid to upper 40's in Green Bay). But then we'll be watching as a cold front gets ready to push through the area.

The cold front will begin to work its way on a rainy Friday, as we'll see high temps again in the upper 40's/lower 50's throughout the region. This will add to those winds, and I am still going to call for winds gusting around 40 mph on the day Friday. It will be rainy across much of the region on that day as well.

Saturday we look to be cooling down briefly, but it looks like we're going right back to warmer weather for the beginning of the week.

Make sure you check your extended forecasts for more information and what you can expect over the next couple days. But as always, I'll keep you updated, but for now, I am Timmy Albertson and that's the weather! Keep checking back for updates because I'll have them.
