What was suppose to be ours...

...is now over in New England, where New York City could see about a foot of snow by tomorrow night. This was suppose to be our system (remember that system I was talking about last week...) well, there it is...all the way over in New England...thanks karma.

Well, other than that, not a whole lot has changed in the world of weather since I last updated you all this morning. We here in the Great Lakes will see a warming trend begin Thursday, and then temperatures will return back to normal by Sunday evening. Now, I took a look at the Climate Prediction Centre (CPC), because I got bored, and their 8-14 day temperature prediction showed that basically the entire country will return to below normal temperatures in the next 8-14 days. So that sounds about right, seeing how this next low pressure system will be a fun one to track.

The image that you have been shown is the CPC's prediction for temperatures 8-14 days from now.

Now, what do I expect here for the GLWX? Well, as I have mentioned about a million times, we'll see warmer weather and then expect a sudden cool down by Sunday. This is typical with these types of systems, and it happens quite a bit here in the Great Lakes region since records have been kept. In fact, tomorrow morning if I remember, I'll see if I can pull up some record data and show you all what I mean.

So for now, not a whole lot to type about in terms of weather, but I'll keep you up to date as always, and I'll have more weathery stuff to type about in the morning, but for now, I am Timmy Albertson and that's the weather!
