Well that weak low pressure over in the Plains is going to be stirring up quite a bit of problems this evevning and tomorrow for part of the Great Lakes region.
Now, is it going to be a blizzard? Hardly. Is it going to be a lot snow...not really, depends on who you ask. But the only city really in the Great Lakes region that has to watch out for it will be Chicago, where anywhere from 4-7 inches of snow could fall between late tonight and tomorrow.
So for tomorrow, South Bend, you could see an inch of snow, Fort Wayne you all could see about a half inch. Toledo will get around a quarter of an inch as will some other places in northwest Ohio.
Now for people in the Great Lakes region, it wont be the snow that will be getting us this weekend, it'll be the cooler weather on Monday through Wednesday. Huh? Simple really. We're going to have a nice high pressure build in from Canada, and it'll slide its way down towards the center part of the country and in doing so, it'll be bringing us a nice little cold snap for the beginning of the week. Now, temperatures will not be that extreme, maybe mid teens for a low on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday night, so that will be nice.
So, basically, if you're heading out to Chicago this weekend, be watchful. 4-7 inches of snow is possible starting late tonight, I know there are some winter weather warnings out for places in that area. The low pressure is going to head towards Indianapolis, so it will not effect the Great Lakes region very much at all.
I'll keep you all up date as always, I'll have your complete forecast again in the evening, but for now, I am Timmy Albertson and that's the weather!
