A mostly quiet night

Well, tonight will be a mostly quiet night for much of the Great Lakes region with a few exceptions. Tonight in Erie and Buffalo, you could still see about 1-3 inches of snow, and some places in the Buffalo area dont really need much of the snow. Some places in Erie county, New York have reported a total snow depth of 30 inches on the ground and the snow over there keeps on coming, not as heavily though.

In Chicago, you guys could pick up about 2-5 inches of snow later tonight into tomorrow morning. Other than that, a mostly quite night with some cooler weather and mostly cloudy skies.

Let's take a look at some nighttime forecasts for the region:

Toledo: Mostly cloudy tonight with lows down in the mid 20's.
Detroit: Cloudy with lows in the mid 20's.
Erie: Snow showers, possible accumulation about 2-4 inches. Lows in the mid 20's.
Buffalo: Scattered snow showers still possible, lows in the upper 20's. Otherwise mostly cloudy.
Green Bay: Snow showers possible from our "North Dakota clipper", expect about 1-2 inches of snow. Lows down near 20.
Fort Wayne: Mostly cloudy tonight with lows in the mid 20's.

So, aside from the North Dakota clipper, and some lake effect snow over near Buffalo, a fairly calm night tonight across the Great Lakes region with some cloudy skies. Tomorrow however, places like Fort Wayne and Toledo could see some scattered snow showers, but nothing too much in terms of accumulation (and we might not really get any accumulation).

That's all for tonight, and I'll have more coming up in the morning, but for now, I am Timmy Albertson and that's the weather!
