Well the latest charts indicate that the storm system we've been typing about here at GLWX will still go a little bit farther north than what we would have hoped for. If this system decides to go any further north, then we'll have to bump our highs down a couple degrees and not expect a good cool down. The problem with this system is: the more northward it goes, the less chance of the high pressure crossing over us. If the next charts indicate still a more northernly track, then we'll have lower 40's on Friday and Saturday and our cool down will be nothing more than a 10° drop in high temperatures.
So what does all this mean? Simple, the more northward this storm goes, the lesser chance of getting anything interesting. If it decides to go a bit southward then we could definetly see something interesting. But for now, I am looking at rain showers possible on Thursday through Saturday in the GLWX region, then maybe some isolated snow showers on Sunday and by Monday temperatures will be cooling down into the lower 30's.
Still there isn't a whole lot to type about here at the GLWX. The weather here is calm for the most part. As mentioned earlier, if the next charts indicate a more northernly track, then we'll definetly update our forecasts and let you know so keep checking back for updates on that. That's all for now, and we'll keep you up to date as always, but for now, I am Timmy Albertson and that's the weather!
