Chilly to warm...then back to Chilly

Alrighty, well we have ourselves a system that the weather is using to play a creul joke on us with. We're going to have a bit of a temperature swing these next couple hours. We'll see a strong low pressure over Lake Superior really effect us here all over the Great Lakes region. This low will have a front with it (as most lows do). Now, due to the fact that I had typed a whole update...then somehow it got deleted right before I could post it, I am going to run through the timeline of what I expect to happen for the next couple days.

Friday: Friday will be the warmest day for much of us across the Great Lakes region where quite a bit of us will see highs in the upper 40's if not near 50, so check your forecasts. The front will begin to work its way into the Great Lakes region during the day on Friday, but otherwise nothing more than some above average temperatures.

Friday Night: The cold front will pass through Green Bay and begin to work its way eastward. There will be a lot of rain associated with this front, and maybe a few snow showers might mix in behind the front, however not much will accumulate because the ground will be too warm.

Saturday: The front will make its way towards the Fort Wayne area by the noontime hours, temperatures will go for around 40 or 45 and drop down in the lower 30's by this time. Most other places will be recieving quite a bit of rain, Toledo and Detroit especially. By the afternoon watch as that front passes through the Toledo and Detroit areas and temperatures will go from the lower 40's to the lower 30's.

Saturday night: the front will be making its way to Erie and perhaps Buffalo at this time, and Erie could see some snow showers at this time, but nothing accumulating because the ground will be too warm.

By Sunday all places will be back to their normal temperatures, and most of us will see those cooler temperatures stick around for the beginning of the week. Now, as typed, this will mostly be a rain event, but some places might see a snow showers or two mix in behind the front, but again, nothing will accumulate because the ground will be too warm.

So keep checking back for updates on this system, we'll keep you posted on it as it develops. But for now, I am Timmy Albertson and that's the weather!
