(Blowing snow across the back roads of Bowling Green, Ohio. Taken by Timmy Albertson, 13 Dec. 2010).
Well the winds have died down across much of the area from Fort Wayne over to Toledo, however breezy conditions are still likely tonight. Lows in places like Fort Wayne and Toledo will be near about 5°, and right now it is 9°. Even though the winds wont be as strong as they were earlier today, when temperatures are down that low, it wont take much to make a low windchill. Tonight, expect windchills to remain below 0° tonight, and do not be surprised if the windchill dips below -10° for a brief moment in some places.
Otherwise, snow in Cleveland and Buffalo tonight and tomorrow, with lake effect snow also haunting the people of Lake Michigan around the southern shores.
Buffalo: Snow showers tonight, mostly lake effect with total snow accumulations between tonight and tomorrow of 4-8 inches according to Jacob.
Erie: Lake effect snow as well for you guys, lows tonight in the teens and snow accumulations between tonight and tomorrow will be about 4-7 inches.
And where is Irina? Our good friend Irina is located near the Saint Lawerence at 985 mbs. Irina does have a friend riding along side, and it too is a low pressure of 983 mbs, however because this low pressure isn't going to be passing by the Great Lakes (this second low in Massachusettes) it will not be named. Irina will most likely have its final advisory tomorrow morning on the morning update.
What to expect for tomorrow? Mostly clear skies across much of the region with cooler temperatures in the morning as well as throughout the day tomorrow. I'll have more coming up in the morning, but for now, I am Timmy Albertson and that's the weather!
