Cooler weather on the way

Well it may be a warm one today across much of the Great Lakes, where highs in most places will be around 50. However, we have our cold front beginning to enter the region, and by tonight it should at least be in or near Green Bay, Wisconsin. Ahead of this front are those warmer temperatures, however behind the front are those cooler temperatures. And if a rain showers happens to get caught behind the front, then it could turn into a snow showers, however I am not expecting any snow accumulation in the Great Lakes region because the ground will still be too warm.

This system is mostly going to be a rain event, not much snow, however behind the front there could be some gusty winds around 30-40 mph, so when that front passes you, you'll known because winds will be gusting from the NW at noticeable speeds. So nothing really much in terms of this system, it wont be doing a whole lot for us here in the Great Lakes except pushing our temperatures back down to normal by the end of the weekend and for the beginning of the week.

So most of us here across the Great Lakes will be losing our snow, and we wont be getting anything to replace quite yet. And have you ever noticed that when the snow in your yard melts during the middle of the winter then you find the craziest stuff in your yard. Usually for me it is newspapers and dead birds...both of which were never there before the snow fell. Oh well.

I'll be keeping you up to date on this system as well as others as always. But for now, I am Timmy Albertson and that's the weather! Keep checking back for updates.
