Cooler weather on the way

Well we have our cold front now just beginning to make its way into the Great Lakes region, and by tonight it'll be pushing through Green Bay. Ahead of this front most people will see above normal temperatures more than likely in the upper 40's and lower 50's. However behind the front will be some much cooler temperatures around normal. So lets type about this for a moment:

Right now our low pressure is located over in Minnesota and it's bringing its front along with it (as all lows do). Some rain showers could get caught up behind the front and become snow showers, but nothing is really going to accumulate because the ground will still be too warm. This will mostly be a rain event. Now some gusty winds over about 30-40 mph is possible behind the front, but that will be just about it in terms of excitement from this system. Nothing too much in all honesty.

So temperatures will return back to normal by the end of the weekend, and most people will have lost their nice looking snow and have nothing to replace it with it. Of course, have you ever noticed that when the snow melts in your yard you then find the craziest stuff in your yard? Somehow whenever the snow melts in my yard I find a ton of newspapers, at least ten cigarette butts and dead birds that never seem to there in in the summer or before the snow falls. Oh well.

So, I'll be keeping you up to date on this system, and other weather as always, but for now I am Timmy Albertson and that's the weather! Keep checking back for updates.
