I didn’t
make many changes to the forecast…actually I do not think I made any that were noticeable.
The systems seem to be doing as expected right now. A high pressure will block
just about everything, and that will keep the regional weather calm and dry for
the next couple of days. However, this high pressure is going to slide slightly
to the east of the region, which means that we’ll be on the western edge of it…which
is why those temperatures are going to push the lower 90’s in some spots of the
region between today and Saturday.
Now
this high pressure is going to push out of the region a bit more by the end of
the weekend and that will allow for a low pressure (which will be waiting off
in the Upper Plains) to pull its cold front through the region and help give
the region some rain showers and thunderstorms.
I’ll
revise those forecasts again later this evening, but for now, that’s the
weather! Keep checking back for updates because I’ll have them for you as
always.
