WHAT IS BEING TRACKED: Low pressure to move into the region tomorrow and Friday. Rain first, then snow.

Update for Fort Wayne, Toledo, Detroit and Cleveland: I am expecting the clouds over the FWFA, DFA and TFA to start decreasing here rather soon. That will allow for temperatures to soar back up, along with helping for some instability. There is a wave of low pressure that'll slide down from Lake Michigan later this afternoon, and that might help kick up some storms this afternoon. Severe storm watch is still in effect for NE Ohio, NW PA until 1:00PM this afternoon, though I got a feeling the SPC might actually cancel that watch, and then reissue it further to the west a little bit later. I am just guessing that is what they might do. With the storms expected in the region today (minus Buffalo), I am only expecting small hail and gusty winds. Most of the storms will be normal with rain and lightning...and thunder...but a few of them this afternoon might be able to pick up some extra lift and get some gusty winds and small hail with them. The storms that I am expecting will more than likely a scattered storm event, I am not expecting a line of storms at this point. Otherwise, the region is going to be a little calm for the next few hours as the atmosphere reorganizes itself. I'll keep you updated, and I'll give you a short term outlook in a little bit. For now, that's the weather! Updates will continue.
