The forecast for this afternoon is going to be a bit on the tricky side as a wave of low pressure is going to move along the stationary front. However, I am thinking that the stronger storms are going to stay more to the south oof the region, but we might still be able to pick up some storms and rain showers into the region this afternoon. The wave of low pressure should be able to provide enough lift for those rain showers and thunderstorms to develop. The only problem I am thinking is that the clouds could pose a little bit of a problem for the lift needed this afternoon. Nonetheles, I went ahead and kept the rain showers and thunderstorms into the forecast for later this afternoon and into the evening. Whatever forms will do so in the W and then travel along the front and head to the E. I am thinking that they'll start over in Indiana and make their way into the region that way. I'll have another brief update coming up in a little bit, but for now, that's the weather! Keep checking back for updates because I'll have them for you as always.
