A band of light rain showers is still pushing through the NW Ohio area this morning, however I am not expecting that this will be the main excitment for the day today. I am expecting that we could see some redevelopment of rain showers and thunderstorms this afternoon in the western half of the region (this evening for the eastern half). However, today's wild card will be the cloud cover in the region. The more clouds we get, the less lift which means more rain showers than thunderstorms. However, if we get some sun here and there, we could see some storms as well. I'll type more about that later. For right now though, just keeping an eye on those rain showers pushing through the areas to the east of Fort Wayne and into the Toledo area for the morning commute. These rain showers will continue to go as they have been (heading towards the lake). They will effect the western areas of Cleveland metro in a little bit. They are mostly light, with a few moderate clusters here and there, but no thunderstorm activity from what I can tell. I'll keep you updated.
