Cold front crossing through the region right now is pushing a weak line of rain showers and thunderstorms with it through the area. This line of rain showers and thunderstorms is making its way past Cleveland and over to Erie, but other than that there won't be much going on in the region today. Surface ridge of high pressure will dominate the regional weather for the remainder of the day today and this will allow for temperatures to go well above normal and into the 60's and 70's for just about everybody in the region. Despite the passage of the cold front, it isn't going to do much to keep the temperatures down much.
Surface ridge of high pressure dominates the regional weather throughout the day tomorrow, but then we're going to watch another system get ready to enter the region. This system is will enter the western half of the region late tomorrow night...more so towards sunrise on Thursday morning. These storms will be fairly scattered and weak if they develop at all.
Thursday we can see the chance for more scattered storms in the region as this system moves closer to the region. The majority of the action is going to take place overnight on Thursday as this system pushes through the region and this where the bulk of the storms will be.
System clears out Friday and only some lingering rain showers and thunderstorms will be possible in the region. The weather will remain fairly calm throughout the region over the weekend despite a chance for a stray storm on Saturday afternoon in parts of the region. Otherwise temperatures will return to the 60's and 70's and we're going to see this pattern continue through the forecasting period.
I'll keep you updated as always, and I'll be revising those forecasts around 8.00 a.m. this morning (whoa! Changed it up a bit there didn't I, normally it's 7.30 a.m.). But for now, I am Timmy Albertson and that's the weather!
