No major changes to the forecast this evening as things are generally going right on track. We're looking at a high pressure building into the region right now which is going to keep the regional calm and clear for the majority of the region tonight. A strong cold front will push through the region on Friday and this will drop the temperatures down to below normal temperatures for Saturday as we'll be seeing some of the coolest weather of the season. Brief lake effect snow shower event will come from this in the eastern half of the region and that is going to be something to keep an eye on, however I am not expecting that it will be that much.
Weather gradually warms up through Sunday and Monday in the region as a ridge enters the region ahead of the next system. However the temperatures aren't going to get that high, but they will be a few degrees above normal.
So really a short update this evening in the weather as not a whole lot has changed since I last updated you. I'll keep you updated as always, but for now, I am Timmy Albertson and that's the weather! Keep checking back for updates because I'll have them for you tomorrow morning, starting at 4.30 a.m.
