Rain showers are out and about this morning in the western half of the region. They aren’t as “filled out” as I was expecting, but nonetheless they are around. The weather for today and tomorrow will be a bit unsettled across the region.
Rainy weather will be out and about the region today, so if you’re headed out the door then be sure to bring that umbrella or rain jacket with you. There will be a brief break in the rain showers this afternoon in the western half of the region, but that wont last very long as the cold front gets ready to approach the region.
Tomorrow will be an interesting day in the region as those rain showers will be all over the region. The cold front will be off to the west of the region tomorrow morning and that is going to allow for some warm advection to take place ahead of the front, especially in the eastern half of the region.
Highs tomorrow will be close to the 50’s in the eastern half of the region because the front isn’t going to pass through until early tomorrow evening. The western half of the region will see their highs tomorrow morning, and then temepratures will gradually fall during the afternoon tomorrow and take the rain showers with it.
Eastern half of the region will see cooler air brought over the lake waters which could produce some snow showers tomorrow night and Friday in the eastern half of the region. The snow event wont be that much however because a high pressure will be right behind it and that will keep the event on its calmest behavior.
I am running a little late again this morning, so the Christmas weather won’t be on this post. My next Facebook update will be around 3.30 p.m., however I’ll have an update on the site www.glweather.blogspot.com around 7.30 a.m. this morning along with some revisions to the extended forecasts, so do be sure to check back for it.
I’ll keep you updated as always, but for now, I am Timmy Albertson and that’s the weather! Keep checking back for updates because I’ll have them for you as always.
