Generally, no real changes to the forecast at this point. Upper level trough will enter the region tomorrow night behind a cold front which will enter the western half of the region Friday morning and the eastern half of the region Friday evening. Behind the front, skies will clear out for a ridge of high pressure that will build into the region, but not so much for the eastern half of the region where 12-hours of lake effect snow could be possible.
The lake effect snow event is going to be light and not all that much, but it will be good enough to give parts of the snow belt about 1-3 inches of snow, maybe 2-3 depending on how things turn out.
The high pressure will build into the region on Friday night/Saturday morning for the western half of the region and this high pressure is really going to put the temperatures down to below normal for about a day or two. Look for highs only be in the 20’s for Saturday with Friday night lows in the mid teens possibly in Fort Wayne.
I’ll have an update coming up in a little bit, but for now, that’s the weather!
