No big changes to the forecast at this point as things are still going to plan. A few breaks in the clouds over the western half of the region, will keep an eye on that and adjust the cloud cover forecast if need be. Otherwise, things are still generally going to plan across the region. Low pressure on its way into the region, and this low will push through the region late this afternoon and overnight tonight.
High pressure will briefly set up in the region, keeping the region calm for after midnight tonight and tomorrow morning. Another low pressure develops and then heads towards the region by tomorrow late tomorrow afternoon. It'll start off as rain and maybe a rain/snow mix, then it will become all snow in the region by midnight and then we'll see that taper off by noon on Friday.
High pressure builds up for the weekend, despite a few lingering lake enhanced snow showers in the east due to the passage of a weak cold front from the northern Plains.
Extended forecasts are revised and posted, be sure to check those out. Because things probably wont change that much for the next few hours, I am not going to have a Noon update nor will I revise the forecasts at Noon. However, I will be revising the forecasts and have another update coming up around 4.00 p.m. this afternoon. I'll keep you updated as always, but for now, I am Timmy Albertson and that's the weather! Keep checking back for updates because I'll have them for you.
