Noon Update

Overall right now, no major changes needed to the forecast at this point as generally things are going according to plan for the regional weather. Surface low pressure moving into eastern Tennesse right now and is holding up nicely at about 1005-mbs according to the 15z charts. Now there is a weak area of high pressure near the region right now and that is keeping us dry for right now, however this area of high pressure will begin to weaken as the afternoon goes on and it will slide away from the region and allow for those rain showers ahead of the low to return into the region.

Look for those rain showers to become basically steady late this evening and overnight tonight for a good portion of the region as that low pressure along with the upper level low move into the region. A few flood watches have been posted in the NW Ohio area in regard to tomorrow as that rain will be falling on already saturated grounds. Expect a little field flooding along with a little swelling of the fields by the time Wednesday morning rolls around.

I’ll be working on the extended forecasts this afternoon and I’ll have those posted on the site shortly, so be sure to check those out. Otherwise things are generally going to plan. I’ll have a full update coming up around 3.30 p.m. both on the site and on Facebook so be sure to check those out.

But for now, I am Timmy Albertson and that’s the weather!
