What happened...

Well the storms rolled through a little bit earlier than expected, actually it was only about 4 hours earlier than I had expected. Because of this early timing they didn't really get the lift that they needed. The other big thing was my biggest concern and that was the cloud cover. Remember yesterday I stated that if we didn'[t get any clearing in the morning, then escentially we'd only be getting rain showers...well that happened, no clearing. The clouds really killed the chances of seeing more storm development in the day so all we got were some rain showers throughout the remainder of the afternoon. Basically what I expected, but a little earlier than I had anticipated.

Right now the cold front is passing through the Cleveland area, and behind that front temps are dropping rather quickly -- which usually always happens with cold front -- so we should see overnight low generally in the 30's across much of the entire region tonight.

Erie and Buffalo you guys are still going to see those rain showers possible overnight tonight, but as far as storms go, you might get a few rumbles of thunder but at this point, there isn't a whole lot else be concerned about.

Toledo and Fort Wayne, mostly cloudy for you guys tonight and possibly a few lingering showers this evening...I am still seeing a couple showers here and there on the radar, but I am sure a lot of that is just virga (rain that evaportates before hitting the ground). Otherwise, a cool and breezy night tonight for you guys.

I'll have more coming up in the morning around 6:30 a.m., but for now, I am Timmy Albertson and that's the weather! Keep checking back for updates because I'll have them for you as always.
