GREAT LAKES WEATHER: Some rain

Some rain

Well that weakening low pressure system has made its way over to the Chicago area right now, and that is bringing some rain showers to the southern Michigan area right now. Those rain shwoers appear to be holding a bit north of the Toledo area, however I am still going to call for a chance of scattered rain showers for the Fort Wayne and Toledo are right now.

The rain is really going to start falling in just a little bit in the Erie and Buffalo area. Heavy rain appearing on the radar over Lake Erie so I will have to keep an eye on that over the next hour or two, see what all that is going to do.

On the plus side, the new models and surface charts have just came out, which means that I will be updating those extended forecasts here in a little bit. So keep checking back and within the next or two I'll start getting those extended forecasts up.
