A rainy weekend

We're going to see a low pressure form down in the Plain's later today, and that low will be responsible for the rainy weather that we're going to see over the next couple of days.

We have a high pressure right now over the region, and that is keeping those skies clear this morning across the region. However, those clear skies will not last long as that low pressure will form and then quickly move towards our area. Ahead of the low pressure will be its warm front, which will situate itself once again down in the Ohio River Valley later tonight. To the north of the warm front, we're going to see a weak disturbance move west to east through the region, parallel to the warm front, and that means that by this time tomorrow morning it'll be rainy.

The SPC has Fort Wayne under a slight risk of stong storms on Friday night and early Saturday morning. I do not expect that the storms will be strong, nor do I expect that they will be all over the place, however we could see a strong storm here and there within all these clusters of rain showers. The biggest chance for thunderstorms will be Friday night and into Saturday morning, and I am thinking that this system will mostly be rain showers, and then we'll see a somewhat quick line of storms that'll come through in the morning. Of course, for the afternoon update I will have all the times finished and I'll do another update for you all and tell you what I am fully expecting.

If anybody will see a chance for strong storms it'll be Fort Wayne and perhaps some places to the west of Toledo. It wont be as high of a chance as what we saw the other day, but it will be a chance nonetheless.

There will be a brief break on Saturday afternoon, but those rain showers will return again on Sunday as we're going to watch another disturbance and low pressure move across the region.

This system is looking like it'll be a repeat of what we saw the other day, however the system will go just a tad bit more to the north. As of right now, there isn't a whole lot to type about at this point, it wont be until about Noon when I will have all my times finalized and I'll put up some graphics for you at noon.

Extended forecasts are updated, and this afternoon as well I will be updating them again for you, especially the Toledo, Fort Wayne and Cleveland forecasts. So be sure to check around noon for updates and updated extended forecasts. I'll keep you up to date as always, but for now, I am Timmy Albertson and that's the weather! Keep checking back for updates because I'll have them for you as always.
