Rainy night

Still watching as those rain showers are going to move towards the area tonight, and also that stationary front is going to become a warm front and this will cause temps across the region to raise into the mid 40's to the lower 50's (depending on where you are at).

Rain showers are moving through central Indiana right now and are heading towards the region, and these rain showers will be in Fort Wayne rather soon and they'll be in Toledo and Detroit in just a couple hours, and by midnight they will be near Cleveland as well. Some of these rain showers could contain an embedded storm, but in general this will mostly be a rain event.

Now with that warm front moving through the area tonight, we're going to see those temps rise across the region, and then the moisture levels will increase throughout the night, so aside from the formation of more rain showers (seeing as how that warm front will be slow moving and that low pressure from the Plains will be moving in) we're going to see some conditions that will be good for some storm development. Now, will these be an outbreak of strong storms? No. But within the cluster of rain showers and storms that we get, we could get a strong storm here and there. They wont be very frequent and they should be far between, however they will be there and the biggest thing they will be bring will be heavy downpours and small hail...I am not really expecting much from them tomorrow.

Now these threat for some strong storms however will last in the region through tomorrow night and Wednesday as we await for that cold front to pass through along with the low pressure system. So coming up in the morning, I am going to finalize my predicted passage of that cold front so I can narrow down those precip chances, but for right now they are going to remain high until I do so tomorrow morning. So do be sure to check back around 5.30 a.m. tomorrow morning for those updated extended forecasts and more information on what we can expect across the region with the passage of this next system.

Be sure to check the regional radar link located at the daily forecasts...just copy and paste the link and you'll be able to view the radar.

Again, I am not expecting anything too major from this next system, and to be honest we will more than likely see more scattered rain showers and scattered thunderstorms then we will strong storms in the entire region. Oh well, but it should be interesting to track and forecast for. So I will keep you updated as always, and be sure to check back in the morning. But for now, I am Timmy Albertson and that's the weather! Keep checking back for updates because I'll have them for you as always.
