A weakening cold front will push through the region later today through tomorrow. With it will be some light scattered rain showers and some cloudy conditions. Not really much to be overly concerned about really. Just some rain showers here and there.
However I am going to be watching a low pressure system that will form out of the Plains later today. This low will deepen quickly and try to head to area, and it will mostly bring rain showers and some cooler temps behind it. The rain will really begin on the day Friday for much of the region as this low pressure tries to cut through the region. I am not really expecting much in terms of thunderstorm activity, however I am expecting that there could be some light mixing with snow showers, however temps are going to be too warm and it is way too late in the season for any accumulation.
Now, once this system passes through however, cooler air from Canada will try to enter the region (this will happen as well once that weak cold front pushes through tomorrow, only it will happen on a much lesser scale). Temps will fall a little bit below normal, but nothing that would put us in a deep freeze. Temps across the region should in general remain above freezing, however the highs might be just a tad below normal...which will seem cold seeing how just a couple days ago we were all 25° above average.
So for today, we'll be watching that low pressure to our southeast push out of the area, rain showers will be likely (duh) this morning in Erie and Buffalo, and few lingering rain showers will be possible as well later this afternoon. Otherwise, clear weather across the region, highs in the 60's. Tonight, increasing clouds for some as the weakening cold front moves through the region. Green Bay today, rain showers will be possible, especially this afternoon as that weak cold front knocks on your door...however most of those rain showers should clear out before the midnight hours.
I'll have more coming up around the noontime hour today, but for now, I am Timmy Albertson and that's the weather! Keep checking back for updates because I'll have them for you as always.
