Oui

Well the rain just doesn't want to the leave the area, and last night I spent all this time telling you about how it was going to end over night, and as some of you can see this morning it is still drizzling in the area with scattered rain showers about. Now, here is the plus side. Despite, the apparent semi-flub in the forecast, these rain showers are actually starting to end in the Fort Wayne and Toledo area, and they'll be out of here within the next couple of hours and we'll start to see some clearing in that area hopefully by the late morning hours.

Temps today wont be really bad once that trough clears the area. Depending on how quickly the clouds want to clear out, we'll be seeing highs in the lower 60's for a good chunk of the region (possible upper 50's moreso in Erie and Buffalo because the clearing wont get to you until a little bit later this morning).

Now, we're going to see a much needed break to all the precip for the day today and tomorrow across the region (with the exception of Green Bay). We got this system clearing out and we're going to enter about a 48 hour period of clear and calm weather for most of the region, and that will be needed to help give those rivers a chance to calm down and help that ground finally absorb that moisture. However the clearing period wont last all weekend.

What I am tracking is yet another low pressure that is going to try to take a different track than its predecessors. This low is actually going to cross to the north of the region, however it will have a nice sized cold front which will sweep through the region on Saturday night through early Monday morning. And that will just make things a little...more rainy and possibly stormy depending on where you are at. Now, I am not thinking at this point it will be that constant rain like what we saw this week, however it could be more along the lines of scattered, pop up and clustered rain showers and thunderstorms that will move ahead of the front. But I shall type about that for the 7.30 a.m.

For right now however, we are seeing that trough finally get out of the way, and no later than this morning should we start to see an end to the scattered drizzle and rain showers and move into some clearing...and yes, the sun is still around we just haven't seen it in a while. So dont freak out when you see a big yellow ball of burning gas in the sky today (it's a Friday, that is all the humor I have for you).

So for the 7.30 update, here is what I am working on: I am going to be working on some of the timing for the low pressure system that will effect our region towards the end of the weekend and what all we can see from it. I'll also be updating you on the clearing that I am expecting for the day today and tomorrow. So keep checking back for updates because I'll have them for you, but for now, I am Timmy Albertson and that's the weather!
