Well we didn't get as many storms yesterday in the southern part of the region as I had expected. But definition, the forecasts were correct, however by actuality they were a bit off. Now, it wasn't a forecast flub, but it was a little over estiminated. I'll type more about that coming up at 7.30 a.m. for the longer morning update, but for right now, let me type about some weather.
We have the cold front moving in from Indiana finally, and it is arriving a few hours later than expected, but nonetheless it is bring some rain fall and scattered storms to the area. There is a nice storm line moving in from south of Bowling Green Ohio at this time, there is no warning associated with it at this time, and it is moving somewhat quick. Looks like it is coming directly from the south-southwest, however it will effect the more eastern areas of Toledo at this time. This storm is effect us here at the GLWX, and already rain fall is being measured...about 0.22inches so far as this storm moves through, so basically just a rain maker.
So what can we expect from this system as the days goes on...simply really, chance of storms and rain showers for much of the day today, as some of you might already be noticing in the Fort Wayne and Toledo area. Most of these rain showers and thunderstorms will happen ahead of the cold front which is trying to cross into the area right now. I am going to do some revisions to the forecast and then at 7.30 a.m. I'll have a full update for you all.
So keep it here, I am Timmy Albertson and that's the weather! Keep checking back for updates because I'll have them for you as always.
