Morning Update

Well last evening is the reason we here at GLWX do not even jump to conclusions. Those storms were holding up pretty well, but when they got to our forecast area, again most of what we saw we strong winds and some small hail. Nothing else in all honesty. There was one lone report of a possible tornado just to the very south of our forecast area...and all that was reported was a roof torn off a barn. From what it looks like 90% of those reports are all for strong winds from those storms that rolled through last night.

The cold front is passing through Indiana right now, and behind that front the air is stablizing so I do not expect that we're going to see much more precip in Toledo and Fort Wayne today, could still see a pop up rain shower in Cleveland and Detroit this morning, and Erie and Buffalo will be seeing some scattered rain showers as well, but all mostly before noon. So with that cold front on the way, looking like all chances for precip are going back down to 0.

Coming up at 7.30 a.m., I'll be typing about some of those storms reports from last nights storms and what the region can expect for the day today. Also, I'll be typing about what we can expect for the holiday weekend as well possible above average temps for next week. I'll keep you updated as always, but for now, I am Timmy Albertson and that's the weather! Keep checking back for updates because I will have them for you as always.
