
It was a 41 years ago exactly yesterday when Apollo 13 (250,000 miles from Earth) expierenced a malfuntion with an exploding oxygen tank became a major problem for the crew. From today until 17 April, we're going to be taking a look at the weather (as well as present weather of course) from the 1970 weather archives for each day to see what the weather was like in the Great Lakes region during NASA's "Sucessful Failure".
