Afternoon Update

Well the clouds are on their way across the region right now as that low pressure in the Plain's remains a little bit strong. Rain showers are down to the south of the region, however they appear to be along the stationary front which is just south of the region at this time in Kentucky. That front will start to move a little bit later this afternoon and moreso this evening and tonight as that low pressure from the Plain's heads on over to Minnesota area. Rain showers might be slightly possible this afternoon, but more so the region will see their rain showers likely after this evening.

Rain showers will be light and moderate at times with a few embedded heavy showers within. Generally, the rain will last for about a day from what I am predicting, and it will mostly be because of that stationary front. The rain will enter tonight and will exit tomorrow evening...so about 24 hours give or take a decade a two.

Right now that low pressure is down in the Plain's at 992 mbs in Oklahoma City.

Upper 60's down to the south of the region right now, but once you get up to Toledo and Fort Wayne its in the mid 50's. But in general those temps here are going to not really fluctuate much because of some of that cloud cover which is going to start rolling in.

So a mild afternoon for the region today, and then those clouds will be fully in the region no later than this afternoon. I'll keep you updated as always always, but for now, I am Timmy Albertson and that's the weather! Keep checking back for updates because I'll have them for you. And due to the lack of time, I'll type about the Apollo 13 weather later this evening before the Evening Update.
