At a first glance, todays charts showed that the low pressure from the Plains was going to stall out and make a more northern movement towards Lake Superior...but that is no longer the case. We're going to end up following two seperate low pressure systems that are going to effect us this weekend. What that basically means is that low pressure one will form from the Plains and move our way and then weaken as it crosses through the region, while at the same time another low pressure from Canada will gain some power and move east over central Ontario. This makes a lot more sense now, and I'll be able to clean up those extended forecasts later this evening.
Watching that weak cold front moving across the state of Wisconsin from the northwest and that is going to cause some overcast and a few scattered rain showers this evening in that area. But in general, mostly just some scattered rain showers, not really expecting a washout.
I'll have more coming up this evening around 8 p.m. and I'll get those extended forecasts updated as well. So keep checking back for updates because I'll have them for you. I am Timmy Albertson and that's the weather!
