Cloud cover pretty much over the region from Green Bay to Toledo, where we're seeing scattered rain showers moving into the Fort Wayne area. Those rain showers will be near to Fort Wayne within the next couple hours and they'll be light, but heavy enough to get the ground wet.
Now onto some terms that I was typing about earlier. Over the next couple months you're going to see me use terms like "Strong" or "Scattered" when typing about thunderstorms.
"Strong" basically means that the mentioned storms will be heavier (stronger) than a normal pop up storm. The storms will have a potential to produce very heavy downpours, brief hail and possibly damaging winds. Now, not every strong storm will do all three, but it could do one of the three. And normally, I would inform you of which of the three the storms will be likely to do.
"Scattered" is a general term meaning that I expect them to be there...but they wont be in a squall line or in an organized cluster. It means they will be here and there, pop up and go type storms. It basically means that every location within the forecasted city (i.e. Fort Wayne) has an equal chance of seeing a storm.
"Isolated" means pop up storms. There wont be any direct chance of a storm forming, however a pop up storm (caused by day time heating) could occur. It would be non strong, brief and short lasting...a few flashes of lightning, quick burst of rain and then back to sunny.
"Likely" means I believe it will happen. "Possible" means there is a good chance that it will happen, but it might not. So in theory you could say that likely is about 70% and possible is everything below.
I'll keep you updated as always, but for now, I am Timmy Albertson and that's the weather! Keep checking back for updates because I'll have them for you as always.
