Here we go again

Alrighty everybody, are you all ready for a fun temperature swing? Temps are going to be returning to average, which is funny because a month ago average would've seemed very warm, but now we're going to consider average rather cool. But like I've been typing for over a week now, this is the time of the year when the air masses are really fighting for control over the region. The rain that we'll be seeing this week wont be as heavy as we've been seeing, we'll probably get about 0.25 to .50 inches of rain. Could we get some storms on Tuesday and will there be snow on Thursday? Lets go ahead and read about it.

Today will be the day we watch this next system get ready to roll in. Places like Fort Wayne and Toledo will see the clouds increasing heavily throughout the day, and by this afternoon those scattered rain showers will begin to enter the region and we'll see those rain showers stick around for the next couple days. So be sure to check your extended forecasts which I'll be updating this morning.

Also, for Tuesday, I am only expecting this to be a rain event for Toledo and Fort Wayne, however we could get some storms from it. The SPC is keeping Toledo and Fort Wayne away from the "really big storms" but it will still be something that I will keep an eye on today. I do not expect that any storms will really want to form seeing as how temperatures will be in the 50's...but for the heck of it, I'll keep you updated on that.

One big question some of you are wondering is: Will we be getting snow? And for those of you who hate snow, I am sorry to type but yes, there will be some snow. Depending on where you are, some will accumulate lightly, others wont even notice it. I'll get to that in a few paragraphs...

But first, tomorrow temperatures are going to rise to the lower 60's in places like Fort Wayne, Detroit and Toledo. For Erie and Buffalo...you'll get into the mid 50's, but I doubbt you'll get above that.

The rain system will pass through tonight and tomorrow across the region, and Toledo will see their rain showers tonight and tomorrow morning, but the afternoon tomorrow will just be cloudy and rather warm. However, Buffalo will see the rain showers tomorrow morning go into the evening hours and that will mean 50's for a high and rain showers tomorrow. So location is rather important with this system because of the timing of a lot of things.

Tuesday, temps are just going to fall as we could see some more rain showers in parts of the region. Wednesday, temps fall a little bit more and the scattered rain showers return to a bit of the region. Overnight, some of those scattered rain showers will mix with snow in Toledo and Fort Wayne, but nothing will accumulate...gruond will be too warm.

Erie and Buffalo, for snow, I am wondering about as well. You'll be getting snow showers on Thursday no questions about that, however if it will accumulate I am still trying to determine. If it does accumulate, it wont be too much more than an inch or two, so do keep checking back for updates on that.

So, above average temps tomorrow, and then we'll go to normal across the region. Like I said, check those extended forecasts I have up for you. I'll keep you updated as always, but for now, I am Timmy Albertson and that's the weather! Keep checking back for updates because I'll have them for you.
