Rainy night and morning

Right now in the region those rain showers are just about to enter Chicago within the next couple hours, which means that by late tonight and by the morning hours we'll be seeing those rain showers anywhere from Fort Wayne to Buffalo. Green Bay as mentioned will miss out on most of the fun. These will mostly be rain showers with some embedded thunderstorms. The biggest threat really is going to be some localized flooding problems along areas close to a river or stream, but this is what we get all the time when we have a winter thaw so really it isn't anything to be overly concerned about. Right now, our low pressure is down in Texas/Oklahoma panhandle and will quickly move our way over night tonight.

The first part of the rest of this post is a copy from my previous post, however the stuff about Erie and Buffalo will be new.

Tomorrow, the low pressure is going to cross through the area. This low will enter the region in the late morning and early afternoon, but the cold front will be a little bit behind the low. Highs ahead of the front will be varied.

The front will cross through Fort Wayne around the late morning, which means the highs for Fort Wayne will only get into the mid 40's at the highest. The temps will then drop into the lower 40's by the afternoon. There will be rain showers in Fort Wayne for much of the morning and part of the afternoon, and in the end some of those rain showers could mix with snow showers, but nothing will accumulate. By tomorrow night clouds will decrease and temps will go back to the 20s for an overnight low.

For places like Toledo, highs will get a little warmer tomorrow as that front will be cross over about 2 hours after it passes Fort Wayne, it will head your way. This means that highs will be a little warmer tomorrow afternoon, about the upper 40's. And then, once the front passes a little later in the afternoon, we'll see temps drop to the lower 40's. Rain showers will be abudunt throughout the morning and afternoon, however once the front crosses we'll see some left over scattered rain and some possible snow showers in the evening, but nothing will stick. By the late evening, skies clear out and temps drop down into the 20's.

Tomorrow, Erie will see a high temp around 50° and that is because the cold front will reach them a few hours after it does Toledo. This means that you all in Erie (and Buffalo) will have suffice time to get an actual high temp. The front will pass through in the evening, and you'll feel it as temps begin to quickly drop from the 50's down to the lower 30's by midnight. It will be a rainy day for most of you in that area tomorrow. By the evening, as the front gets ready to pass on through, you could get some snow showers mixing but nothing will really accumulate much.

Tuesday is looking like a clear day for the most part in both Erie and Buffalo with cooler temps in the upper 30's for a maximum possible high. Not a whole lot different from every one else except that you'll see a high in the 50's and the rain showers will end in the evening, rather than the late afternoon.

I'll keep you updated as always, and I'll have more coming up in the morning, but for now, I am Timmy Albertson and that's the weather! Keep checking back for updates because I'll have them.
