4 PM Update

(Radar image at 3:15 p.m. EST)

The first wave of Darya is about to at Fort Wayne and is about an hour out from Toledo and those areas. Winds are increasing as expected, and later tonight and tomorrow morning we'll see those winds gusting upwards to 40 mph. So a fun next couple of hours here across the Great Lakes region.

Scattered snow showers possible the rest of the afternoon and into the evening. We'll see a possible inch of accumulation by the time sunset rolls around, and then a little later this evening we're going to go into a steady snow fall with accumulations anywhere from 5-11 inches depending on where exactly you are at in the region...so check your extended forecasts.

Wind chills at 0° here at the GLWX home and I'll have another update coming up for you all around 5 p.m. But for now, I am Timmy Albertson and that's the weather! Keep checking back for updates because we'll have them.
