Well, it definetely wont be a blizzard for us here in the southern Great Lakes region this Tuesday and Wednesday, anywhere from an inch to 3 inches of snow from Fort Wayne to Toledo. So what is happening? Well let me explain it to you all here.
Starting Tuesday morning, we'll see a low pressure move into the southern region of Ohio, and this will in turn give some snow to the southern part of the region by late Tuesday morning.
First, I believe that the more southern places in the region will get the snow first, then moving into Toledo and possible even Detroit could start seeing the snow by the afternoon hours. The snow most likely wont be very heavy, but it could be moderate and at times.
The snow will be off and on...off then on...for much of the afternoon and into the evening hours, and by nightfall we'll see the low pressure move NE towards east central Ohio. This will help the snow continue to fall for the NW Ohio region and for the Fort Wayne region as well.
By Wedneday morning, we'll see some scattered snow showers still in the region for NW Ohio and even into the Erie, Pa. region.
So about 1-3 inches of snow is possible in cities like Toledo, Fort Wayne and places in between, mayba ebaout 1-2 inches of snow in the Detroit area. Obviously the more southern in the region you go, the more snow you could see, but in all honesty, this is just going to be a quick system and it'll be over...about 24 hours after it starts.
Now, Saturday and Sunday (next week) we could see some more snow showers move into the region, but that system is still way too far out to determine. I'll keep you up to date on all these systems as always, but for now, I am Timmy Albertson and that's the weather! Keep checking back for updates.
