Nothing has changed...

Well, not a whole lot has changed since I last posted. The post "Negative Freezing O'Clock" if you read that post then you'll basically know what this post will be about.

Today in Toledo, I expect the snow showers to be scattered by mid-late morning, and then by the afternoon hours, the bulk of the snow will have arrived. The snow showers will be mostly light, but a few moderate snow showers could mix in there. Total accumulations by this evening will only be about 2 inches...3 inches in those places that get a couple moderate snow showers. The bulk of the snow will end by around 8 p.m., and then we'll just go into scattered snow showers for the rest of the evening. By tomorrow, the high pressure will take control over the area, and we'll see highs only near 15° with some windy conditions. So blowing snow could be likely tomorrow along with those below 0° windchills in the morning.

For Fort Wayne, we're looking at about the same for you as we're expecting for Toledo. Scattered snow showers likely by mid-late morning, and then we'll see most of those snow showers arriving around the noon time hours. Light snow showers are expected, and again there could be some moderate snow showers mixing in there as well. Accumulations of around 2 inches is likely, with some places seeing about 3 inches if you get some more of those moderate bands. The bulk of the snow will be over by the evening, and then we'll go into scattered snow showers for the overnight. Friday, snow showers decrease in the morning, then we'll go to cooler temperatures with a high only near 15°.

Erie, you'll see scattered snow showers arriving around the noontime hours, however the bulk of the snow will not show up until about the late afternoon. The snow showers for you will also be light, with some moderate snow bands in there, so I am going to say that Erie will get about 2-3 inches of snow. Once this system passes however...you guessed it...lake effect snow likely. Not much, but enough to give you at least another inch or two over the weekend. But on Friday, you can expect to see highs only in the middle teens.

So, some snow showers today, nothing much in accumulation, just a couple inches in most places. But the cooler weather will be the big player for tomorrow. Blowing snow possible tomorrow in both Toledo and Fort Wayne, and we could see windchills well below 0° on Friday morning. On Friday night, Toledo and Fort Wayne can expect to see lows around 5°, if not cooler.

I'll keep you up to date as always on this system and other weather across the region. But for now, I am Timmy Albertson and that's the weather! Keep checking back for updates.
