Let it snow...

(Our system moving into the region)

Well the system is on its way as I type this, we have the system moving into the region right now and we could get some nice new snow, but in all honesty this isn't anything to really be overly concerned about. My biggest concern will be the following: Slippery roads and then blowing snow on Wednesday and Thursday. Otherwise, this system will be typical in the sense that we get snow, and then its over.

Lets take a look at some our predicted snow fall totals for the region...

Buffalo: 2-6 inches of snow between Today and Thursday.
Detroit: 2-5 inches of snow between Today and Wednesday.
Toledo: 2-4 inches (locally 5 inches) between Today and Wednesday.
Green Bay: Around 2 inches between Today and Tonight.
Fort Wayne: 2-3 inches (locally 5 inches) between Today and Wednesday.
Erie: 4-9 inches of snow between Today and Thursday (some could be lake effect).

Now for Toledo and Fort Wayne and Detroit, I expect the bulk of the snow to fall between this afternoon and this evening. Now, that is about 12 hours for only 2-5 inches of snow to fall, so it wont really be heavy, it'll just be that light to moderate snow fall rates.

I'll be keeping you up to date as always, we'll be updating the site throughout the day today, but for now, I am Timmy Albertson and that's the weather! Keep checking for updates.
