Our low pressure has deepended, and the high pressure has actually pushed it a bit further south than I had originally expected. Last evening was a brief moment of panic here at the GLWX for our evening forecasts because quite a bit changed. Now, you wont notice the changes too much, however for us here who make these forecast...we noticed them.
Remember how about 2 days ago we said it would pass through central Michigan, well, now it is going to pass through NW Ohio. Is it save to say that the original forecast for Fort Wayne, Toledo and Detroit was bombed? Well, more or less this forecast was bombed. We are still going to get some snow, however, a bit more than originally expected and about 24 hours later than expected.
Coming up in just a bit I'll have the timing of this storm, but for now, let's take a look at some predicted snow fall amounts:
Toledo: 3-5 inches
Fort Wayne: 3-6 inches, locally 7.
