(Anastasia is the low pressure just off Lake Superior...find the big "L" with all the yellow isobars around it).
Well, at last we have met another Low Pressure system that has met our qualifications for being named. Anastasia, is its name, located just to the north of Lake Superior at 994 mbs and it is producing a decent amount of weather hazards across the Great Lakes region in terms of rain fall and possibly some snow fall for the southern Great Lakes region.
The rain seems to be coming to an end for the cities of Fort Wayne and Toledo, however, we could still see some left over scattered rain showers as a second, weaker front, tries to move through southern Great Lakes region later this evening. The front however could bring some scattered snow showers to the region, and through I do not expect any snow accumulation at this point, it will be nice to see some snow in the NW Ohio area.
Temperatures right now in the Toledo area are in the lower 50's, however we can expect those temperatures to drop across much of the Great Lakes region this afternoon.
I'll have more coming up in just a bit, but for now, I am Timmy Albertson and that's the weather!
