WHAT IS BEING TRACKED: Low pressure to move into the region tomorrow and Friday. Rain first, then snow.
16 July 2012
Extended forecasts are definetly going to be revised around 10:00AM this morning. The main thing will be narrowing down the timing of the precip in the region. A cold front is going to pass through the region as a high pressure pushes in moisture and warm ahead of the front. A nice sized high pressure will be behind the front, so that will provide a possibly decent airmass clash...which means storms. For now, I am thinking that (knock-on-wood) the chances for storms in the region are looking rather good as this front heads towards the region. As mentioned though, I will be revising them throughout the rest of this morning, and I'll definetly have another update by 10:00AM. Keep checking back for updates because I'll have them for you as always. For now, that's the weather!
