Short on Time

Last night I mentioned that I'd go in depth with this system and what we can expect with it. Well, I have the system under control right now, however, time is not on my side at the present moment. I am going to give you all a brief rundown on the system:

A weak cold front will push halfway through the region this afternoon. The front will then stall out and shift from a north to south stretch, to a west to east stretch along Lake Erie. This will allow for hot air to filter into the region. The front will finally lift north as a warm front on Sunday as a low pressure comes out of the Plains and heads towards the region. This will allow the trailing cold front to push through the region on Monday (mainly on Monday night/Tuesday morning) and that will introduce storms into the region. A high pressure sets up behind it and cools the region down.

For those of you in the Erie area this morning checking out the extended forecasts...you'll notice that you do not have one. That is because your region was a bit tricky this morning, so I am going to wait for the 12Z and 15Z charts to come out before I finalize those forecasts and post them. However, they'll be up before noon (but not before 10.00). For now, just use the Cleveland forecasts.

I'll have a Noon Update, where we'll go rather indepth with this system and what we can expect in the region over the next few days. But for now, due to time beyond my control, that's the weather!
