No major changes to the forecast at this point right now as things are generally going to plan in the region. Looking at that cold front exiting the region right now and that is allowing for the skies in the western half of the region to clear and the rain showers in the eastern half of the region to come to an end.
There is going to be another system on its way for tomorrow, and this is going to come in the form of an upper level trough. This system has been a bit of a trickster these past couple of chart updates and it is something that I will continue to keep an eye on. I am not expecting much in the way of storms from it, but it will bring a few rain showers into the region tomorrow afternoon – though the rain showers won’t be anything that big nor will they last that long. Looks like mainly a cloud event.
Other than that, the weather in the region is looking calm through the days Thursday and Friday and for the first part of Saturday, but there is another system on the way. This will come in the form of a cold front which is going to pass through the region – but the question remains: how much moisture will it have to work with. The high pressure area will be right up against.
I’ll keep you updated as always, but for now, I am Timmy Albertson and that’s the weather! Keep checking back for updates because I’ll have them for you as always.
