Evening Post

Again, no major changes to the forecast at this point as things are running rather smoothly this evening. Watching some rain showers beginning to enter the western half of the region with Fort Wayne reporting light rain and the clouds rolling in as well. Mid level moisture has arrived once again, so those skies should remain fairly cloudy overnight tonight in between rain showers. Rain showers are going to fill in the region in a sort-of scattered pattern tonight from the west to the east and these rain showers will remain mostly as rain. There could be some brief mixing with snow showers towards the beginning of the rain event, but really I am not expecting that very many places will see that tonight in the region as the temperatures and advections are basically proving that.

Rain showers will move through the region tonight in the west and into tomorrow morning, tapering off by about noon. The eastern half of the region won't see the rain showers until late tonight and those will carry you guys through the morning and afternoon tomorrow. Again, rain showers will be generally scattered and mainly light with amounts generally staying below an inch.

Otherwise, no big changes to the forecast at this point. I'll keep you updated as always and I'll have updates coming up tomorrow morning starting at 4.30 a.m. But for now, I am Timmy Albertson and that's the weather!
