Evening Post

Basically, things are going to plan this evening across the region. I see no places to revise the forecasts (hence why the Evening updates came late because I wanted to wait to make sure nothing was going to change). Looking at the system right now...it is all over the western half of the region this evening and just now entering the eastern half of the region.

No snow fall reports out right now, however I did take a little measurement here in the Toledo area, and I got about an inch and a half so far, and this system isn't done yet. So it looks like the western half of the region will see the higher end of that 2-4 inches tonight.

The system will be quick to end in the region tomorrow morning (mainly before sunrise in the west and before noon in the east). There is a good amount of dry air behind this system so there won't be anything lake effect snow behind it for the east.

I am also looking at the charts at this evening for some surface reports, as expected there are some gusts but really this system is mostly snow, not wind. Not seeing much in the way of wind reports in the region tonight with the highest being around Fort Wayne and those are only around 15-20 mph.

Temperatures will be low tonight, but they will not be single digits.

Again, no major changes to the forecast. I'll have full updates coming up tomorrow morning starting at 4.30 a.m., but for now, I am Timmy Albertson and that's the weather! Keep checking back for updates because I'll have them for you as always.
