No major changes needed to the forecast this evening. A little breezy in the region, but those winds will die down overnight -- of course just as I type that a nice 30-mph gusts slams against the wall -- but otherwise tonight will be a fairly quiet night in the region. Some flurries in the west possible, otherwise some slight cloud decreasing late. In the eastern half of the region, we'll be watching a brief lake effect snow event build up in the Erie area with about an inch of snow tonight, and 1-3 tomorrow for a total of about 2-4 inches. That event wont be long lasting either.
Clipper system rolls through on Thursday, that wont last long either...about a few hours with accumulations in the region more than likely about an inch or less. Then on Friday a disturbance pushes through the region and that will give us some rain and maybe a brief mix though I think we'll stay generally on the snow side of it all.
We do have another system on its way for this time next week, and this one will be interesting. I'll have some more information on that tomorrow morning. Updates coming up tomorrow morning starting at 4.30 a.m., but for now, I am Timmy Albertson and that's the weather! Keep checking back for updates because I'll have them for you.
