No major changes to the forecast this evening as the rain showers from our low continue to move across the region. Looking for rain showers to mix with snow later this evening in the region, so this is only going to be a minor snow event in the western half of the region with at most ½ of snow possible. In Erie area however, the rain showers will turn over to snow showers after midnight and about 1 to 3 inches of snow will be possible in the eastern half of the region – mainly around Erie though.
High pressure builds in the west and calms the western half of the region for the rest of the weekend while the eastern half of the region will see some continuning snow showers once a weak cold front pulls through late tonight/early tomorrow morning.
Otherwise, I’ll keep you updated as always, but for now, I am Timmy Albertson and that’s the weather! I’ll have it coming up tomorrow morning at 5.30 a.m. but for now.
